Introduction to Cell Biology Writing Seminar

A seminar series associated with a large (~600 student) introductory biology class. The goal of the seminar was to introduce students to the process of writing summaries in a scientific context, focusing on accuracy and brevity. All students read the same popular scientific article and then wrote multiple drafts of a 500-word summary of that article. As the teaching assistant my role was to review the key points of the article, facilitate peer-review among the students, and then mark two drafts of the summary.
